1. Introduction

Welcome to thephuzz.com ("Website"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services available on our Website and the Captain's Club Twitch Extension, including the Captain's Club membership programme, Bucks Shop, Captain's Log, giveaways, and related features. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. User Accounts and Platform Integrations

2.1 Twitch (Primary)

Captain's Club uses Twitch as the primary identity platform. When you use the Captain's Club Twitch Extension, you agree to allow us to receive your Twitch user ID via a token issued by Twitch. No Discord account is required to participate. Your Twitch user ID is used to:

  • Identify your Captain's Club membership and display your PhuzzyBucks balance within the extension panel.
  • Show your giveaway participation, ticket count, and past winners.
  • Track your Captain's Log watch time and collectible drops.
  • Deliver in-panel notifications such as giveaway announcements.

Use of the Twitch Extension is also subject to Twitch's Terms of Service.

2.2 Discord (Optional)

Discord integration is entirely optional. You may choose to link your Discord account through the Website to receive a PhuzzyBucks bonus for being a member of The Phuzz Discord server. Linking Discord is not required to access Captain's Club features through the Twitch Extension. If you do link your Discord account, you agree to allow us to access your Discord username, user ID, and server membership status through the OAuth2 process.

3. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Website and its services for their intended purpose, which includes:

  • Accessing your Captain's Club profile and PhuzzyBucks balance.
  • Browsing and participating in the Bucks Shop.
  • Viewing giveaways and Captain's Log progress via the Website or Twitch Extension.
  • Optionally linking your Discord account for additional benefits.

4. PhuzzyBucks and Virtual Currency

PhuzzyBucks are a virtual in-stream currency with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred between accounts, or used outside the Captain's Club programme. We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or discontinue PhuzzyBucks at any time.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Website or Twitch Extension to engage in any activity that is:

  • Illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.
  • Disruptive to the services or other users.
  • In violation of any local, national, or international laws.
  • Infringing on the rights of others.
  • Intended to manipulate PhuzzyBucks balances, giveaway entries, or any other programme data in an unauthorised manner.

6. Intellectual Property

The content, features, and functionality of the Website and Twitch Extension are owned by thephuzz.com and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Website and its services are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of the Website or Twitch Extension.
