These services are available through the Captain's Club Twitch Extension and the Website. Twitch is the primary identity platform — no Discord account is required to participate in Captain's Club. Discord is an optional integration that provides additional benefits.

2.1 Twitch Account Information (Primary)

When you use the Captain's Club Twitch Extension, we receive your Twitch user ID via a cryptographically signed token issued by Twitch (a JWT). We do not receive your password or payment information. We may also retrieve your Twitch profile image from the Twitch API to display it in the extension panel. Your Twitch user ID is used to:

  • Identify your Captain's Club membership and PhuzzyBucks balance.
  • Display your giveaway ticket count and participation history.
  • Track your Captain's Log watch time and collectible drops.
  • Deliver in-panel notifications such as giveaway winner announcements.

2.2 Discord Account Information (Optional)

Discord integration is entirely optional. If you choose to link your Discord account through the Website, we collect your Discord username, user ID, avatar, and other information provided through the OAuth2 process. Linking Discord provides a PhuzzyBucks bonus but is not required to access Captain's Club features. Your Discord information is used solely to verify server membership and apply the applicable bonus.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

We may collect information about your interactions with the services, including pages visited and actions taken, to operate and improve the services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and maintain the Website and Twitch Extension.
  • Identify your Captain's Club membership status via your Twitch user ID.
  • Display your PhuzzyBucks balance, giveaway entries, and Captain's Log progress.
  • Apply optional bonuses if you have linked a Discord account.
  • Communicate with you about giveaway results or changes to the services.
  • Improve the functionality and user experience of the services.

3.1 API Calls to the Captain's Lookout Bot

The Website and Twitch Extension perform API calls to the Captain's Lookout bot to retrieve and display your Captain's Club information, such as your PhuzzyBucks balance, active giveaways, and related data.

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:

  • With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties if you consent to such sharing.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to legal processes.
